Kilchenmann provided the entire technical infrastructure for the "Adelboden Live" boutique festival on the marketplace stage and accompanied national and international acts with professional audio, lighting and video technology.
In the middle of the impressive mountain world of the Bernese Oberland, Adelboden was once again transformed into a stage for music, culinary delights and encounters in March. The stylish boutique format combines concerts, indulgence and alpine atmosphere. In addition to the musical highlights, the festival was characterized by meeting zones, food stands with regional specialties and selected hospitality areas, turning the village center into a lively meeting place for guests, artists and partners over two days.
Several stages in the ski area and in the village provided a varied live program. The centerpiece was the marketplace stage in the heart of Adelboden, where open-air concerts took place against an impressive mountain backdrop.
Kilchenmann was responsible for the technical infrastructure of this main stage. In collaboration with Gadget Entertainment Group AG (booking/production), the company provided the complete audio, lighting and video technology and ensured a high-quality concert experience for artists and audience alike.
Initial situation/requirements
"Adelboden Live" is aimed at sound and food lovers who value quality and atmosphere. On 20 and 21 March 2026 , the ski area and village center became a world of sound and enjoyment with several carefully staged stages. The program was complemented by culinary offerings, regional products and formats such as the Tschenten Kitchen Club.
The marketplace stage acted as the main venue with national and international acts from a wide range of genres.
As technical partner, Kilchenmann was responsible for the planning, pre-production and operation of the entire infrastructure for sound, light and image. The aim was to create optimal production conditions for the artists while ensuring a first-class live experience for the audience.
Technical implementation
Kilchenmann provided all the technical foundations for the professional operation of the marketplace stage - from sound and lighting technology to systematic coordination with the local conditions.
All systems were installed, set up and tested as early as March 19. This included calibrating the sound system, lighting the stage, sound checks and monitoring setups. This ensured that everything ran smoothly and reliably during the concerts.
The cross-loading of the UB40 production posed a particular logistical challenge: The material was reloaded at the Sillerenbahn and transported to the stage in several trips.
During the days of the event, the technical team continuously monitored all systems, coordinated the changeovers and worked closely with the production, tour crews and stage direction. This meant that every show could be implemented in the best possible way.
Performers on stage included Kim Wilde, UB40, Lo & Leduc, 77 Bombay Street and The Baseballs. The technical setups had to be adapted flexibly to suit different requirements.
In addition, an LED trailer was used for partner communication, branding and visitor information. The VIP area was also equipped with lighting, sound and image technology and atmospherically integrated into the overall concept.
